Pacific Pearl

Here is the fourth in the series of World War II pin-ups-  the Sailor Girl, a tribute to the U.S. Navy,
represented by the submarine force.  Wearing her "modified" dress blues, she is sitting on a Mark 14
torpedo that is being loaded into a submarine.  I did the sculpting & painting.  This is a painted resin
casting of the original sculpture.  Approximately 1/8 scale, about 8.25" tall, 13.5" wide on a 6"x8"
oval base.

At this time, kits are available from kitkongsmodelmansion.com.

The Great Race Sonic Torpedo

This is a project that I did for myself that was not a commission.  It is based on the movie The Great
Race from 1965 (starring Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis & Natalie Wood).  It is a combination kitbash/
conversion/scratch-build.  The wheels & tires are from a 1/35 scale MasterBox Models German
WWII bicycle (the wheels are probably around 26" in 1/35 scale & close to 18" in 1/24 scale, which
is what I wanted).  The Professor Fate (Jack Lemmon) figure started out as a 1/24 scale ICM Models
Henry Ford figure-  the shirt, collar, tie & face/head were modified, in addition to changing the derby/
bowler hat to a top hat.  Other than using plastic rivets from Tichy Train Group, the balance of the
model is pretty much scratch-built from plastic, brass, aluminum, wood, wire & epoxy putty.

Armour Annie

This is the third in the series of World War II pin-ups-  this time a tribute to the U.S. Army, here
represented by the armor (armour) branch.  She is wearing her M1 steel helmet with goggles,
holding a Thompson machine gun & sitting on a M4 Sherman tank.  I did both the sculpting &
painting.  This is a resin casting of the original sculpt-  approximately 1/8 scale, about 8.5" tall
on a 6"x8" oval base.

At this time, kits are available from kitkongsmodelmansion.com.

Sideshow Collectibles Slave Leia Repaint

This was a commission project where I did a repaint of a 1/4 scale pre-painted production multi-
media statue.  I did some re-sculpting of her upper eyelids & painted the flesh, hair, nails, facial
details & some parts of her outfit.  I also added some different gold earrings.  The last 2 pictures
show the original figure.

Bomber Belle- Different Jacket Art

Here is another Bomber Belle figure that I painted with more detailed artwork on the back of her
jacket.  Again, the paints used were mostly acrylics with some lacquer & enamel.  Some of the
line work of the airplane is graphite pencil.  Approximately 1/8 scale.
